Housing Quest Givers in the Capital Cities
🏠 Housing Quest Givers in Capital Cities
Updated: October 2, 2026
Realm: midnight-wow.eu
Build: 69933
Overview
The Housing quest “My First Home” currently cannot be started reliably through the normal tutorial start.
To make sure players can still begin the Housing system, additional Housing quest givers have been placed in the main capital cities.
These NPCs use the original Housing quest givers and offer the same quest as their counterparts in the Housing areas.
Important: The new NPCs will become visible after the next World Server restart.

Cities Not Yet Included
Additional Housing quest givers are currently not available in:
- Boralus
- Dazar'alor
- Valdrakken
- Dornogal
These locations may be added later.
⚔️ Quest Giver Behavior
The additional NPCs behave like the original Housing quest givers.
If a player already has the appropriate quest and speaks to the NPC, the intended Housing tutorial conversation and quest progress will be triggered.
This allows the original quest flow and dialogue to be used without introducing separate or modified conversations.
⚠️ Known Limitations
Some parts of the Housing tutorial are currently not fully functional.
Certain visit or area objectives cannot yet be completed through the normal quest flow.
This means a player may successfully start the Housing quest and speak with the quest giver, but could become unable to continue at a later objective.
Team Assistance
If a player cannot continue because of a known Housing issue, the team should check the player's quest progress and provide assistance where necessary.
🔄 Server Restart Required
The additional quest givers are prepared but will only become visible after the next World Server restart.
Before Restarting
Please notify players shortly before the restart.
After the restart, a total of nine additional Housing quest givers should be available across the capital cities listed above.
🧪 Testing After the Restart
Please check the following after the servers restart:
- Is the Housing quest giver visible in the capital city?
- Can the NPC be interacted with normally?
- Is “My First Home” available?
- Can the quest be accepted?
- Do the intended conversations work correctly?
- Is quest progress updated correctly?
- Does the transition to the Housing area work correctly?
When reporting a problem, please include the character name, faction, city, and current quest progress.
