Midnight consists of three different main realms.

Each realm has its own concept and its own pros and cons. This means you can decide for yourself which gaming experience suits you best.

🟢 Aureon – Easy

For players who want to make rapid progress and enjoy their time in the world.

Aureon is our beginner and casual realm.

Here, you’ll gain significantly more experience, better rewards and more enjoyable gameplay conditions. Enemies are slightly weaker and many day-to-day activities are quicker to complete.

Aureon is particularly suitable for:

• New players
• Players with limited time
• Players who want to play multiple characters
• Players who want to reach the endgame quickly
• Players who prefer adventures to long grinding sessions

On Aureon, you’ll get, amongst other things:

• 8× experience
• 2× loot
• 3× gold from enemies
• 3× quest gold
• 2× Honour
• 3× Reputation
• 2× Recovery
• Reduced repair costs
• Reduced fall damage
• and, overall, significantly more comfortable playing conditions

🟡 Markon – Medium

The classic Midnight experience.

Markon is aimed at players who are looking for neither a heavily simplified realm nor an extreme challenge.

Here you’ll find a balanced gaming experience where progress and challenge take centre stage.

Most stats are at a standard level, whilst the experience has been made significantly more enjoyable with a 4× multiplier.

Markon is ideal for players who:

• are looking for a classic MMORPG feel
• want to develop their character step by step
• value progression
• don’t want to race through the game with excessively high multipliers
• but still want to make faster progress than in the classic 1× system

Markon strikes the perfect balance.

Not too easy.
Not unnecessarily brutal.
Just Midnight, the way it’s meant to feel.

🔴 Kalian – Hard

Are you ready for the challenge?

Then Kalian is the realm for you.

Kalian is aimed at players who want to earn their progress.

There are no shortcuts here in the form of high experience multipliers.

• 1× experience
• Enemies deal more damage
• Enemies have more health points
• Normal loot
• Normal gold amounts
• Normal reputation and honour values
• Normal recovery
• 2× repair costs
• and, overall, significantly more challenging gameplay

The enemies are stronger, making every bit of progress feel more significant.

A new character on Kalian isn’t just meant to be ‘levelled up’.

They’re meant to be built up.

Every piece of equipment.
Every level.
Every quest.
Every boss defeated.

Everything matters.

Kalian is for players who say:

“I don’t want it to be easy. I want it to be worth it.”

🧪 The Live Dev Server

And then there’s one very special realm:

🔵 Development Realm

The Live Dev Server is our playground for development, testing and new content.

Here, new systems, quests, NPCs, features, events and changes can be tested before they are rolled out to the regular realms.

The Dev Realm is therefore deliberately very easy to access.

It is suitable, for example, for:

• Testing new content
• Trying out new systems
• Testing classes and characters
• Checking out new quests
• Finding and reporting bugs
• Getting to know upcoming features
• Supporting the Midnight Development Team

⚠️ Important

The Development Realm is not a replacement for the regular realms.

Content there may change, be reset or removed at any time.

What works today may look completely different tomorrow.

That’s exactly what the Dev Realm is for.

Midnight takes you into a world full of secrets and dangers.

At the heart of our current world lies Silvermoon, which has been rebuilt and plays a central role in the campaign.

But Silvermoon is just the beginning.

Among other things, you can look forward to:

The great capital of the Blood Elves.

A rebuilt city and, at the same time, one of the most important centres of the Midnight world.

🌲 Immersang Forest

The Sunwell, ancient magic and the shadows of the Voidstorm make this region one of the central settings.

The home of the Amani.

A region steeped in history, secrets and dangers.

🌳 Harandar

The home of the Haranir.

A mystical region where the roots of the World Trees play a central role.

🕳️ The Void Storm

But a far greater threat looms over it all.

The Void is reaching for Quel’Thalas.

And what initially appears to be a local conflict could mark the beginning of a much larger war.
